Tour of Keukenhof, Kagerplassen and Leiden

Your route starts at EuroParcs Parc du Soleil. Via the lovely Noordwijkerhout you cycle to Keukenhof, an estate of more than two hundred hectares with beautiful bulb gardens. Also visit Keukenhof Castle, where you can see how the nobility used to live. Then you drive past the bulb fields and the beautiful Kagerplassen. The Kagerplassen consists of 12 different lakes that are bordered by a network of small reed ditches and canals. The only inhabited island is Kaageiland, with about 400 inhabitants. Leiden has the oldest university in the Netherlands and is known for its rich history and old city center with canals, monumental buildings and courtyards. You can take a dip in Noordwijk aan Zee. The route then leads you through the dunes. Enjoy cycling on rolling paths!
