Description
Route along the Maas and through German and Dutch forest areas.
Twice across the Maas; once with the bicycle ferry at Neer (think of the face mask) and once over the pitifully noisy bridge in Venlo. If the bicycle ferry is not open, cycle back to the normal ferry in Kessel. It is worthwhile to visit the Maas near Neer.
The route follows common junctions with the exception of a section through the Auxiliatrix care location, then via the Jammerdal to the Venlo hospital. However, if you follow the map, you simply can't go wrong here.
In Germany, the directions to junctions are not very clearly indicated. Follow the red bicycle signs between the junctions, which are well hidden.
The route is wide enough everywhere; there are plenty of opportunities to relax or to enjoy the surroundings.
