Your route starts at EuroParcs De Woudhoeve, it is not possible to park your car here. From here, explore the cozy courtyards of Alkmaar, cycle along the old canals and discover the narrow streets. Wander through the area and enjoy the beautiful view of the North Sea that the Schoorlse Duinen offers you when you have found your way through Boswachterij Schoorl. The heathlands, which can also be found in this area, are unique in combination with the dunes. Nowhere in the Netherlands are they wider or higher than here! In the autumn, up to 800 different types of mushrooms grow here. In Alkmaar, don't miss a visit to the traditional cheese market, for which the Cheese City became so famous.
