Round Amsterdamse Bos

Your route starts at CityCamping Het Amsterdamse Bos, on the southern edge of the Amsterdamse Bos. The perfect base for a nice walk through this beautiful park! The Amsterdamse Bos was built in the 1930s. It is a good mix of natural parkland and recreational area. You will find a mix of rolling meadows with tufts of trees and dense forest plots. The beautiful water features, bridges and narrow winding paths have created a special landscape here. Each time you have a different perspective. The big city seems very far away here - until you look out over Amstelveen from the banks of the Grote Poel. A beautiful winding path leads you along the water and through the park back to your starting point.
