Tour of Amsterdam, Amstel and Amsterdamse Bos

Your route starts at CityCamping Het Amsterdamse Bos, on the southern edge of the beautiful Amsterdamse Bos. From the park, this cycle route leads to the centre of Amsterdam: you cycle through the beautiful Amsterdamse Bos and arrive at the Vondelpark via the end. This route takes you further through the Grachtengordel, where you will find immense canal houses as well as historical sights. For example, you will discover the Spiegelkwartier, the heart of the Dutch art and antiques trade for more than 80 years. From the 17th century, the richest Amsterdammers lived on the Gouden Bocht, double plots of land were made available especially for them. Via the beautifully meandering Amstel, you can quickly cycle back to your starting point from Central Station and the IJ.
