Tour of Kolkven from Moergestel

First, take the path along the Reusel River. It's a peaceful walk along this stream, overlooking the meadows. Then, on a quiet road, you'll walk between fields and meadows. A little later, you'll delve into the woods and stroll leisurely along the Brandven. The water from this fen was once used to extinguish fires. The Kolkven is the largest fen in the Oisterwijk woods. This fen wasn't carved out by polar winds, but by the swirling waters of an ancient meltwater river. At junction 2, you'll pass Zandstraat 5, an authentic small farmhouse from the early 19th century. The building is among the top 100 national monuments!
