Tour of Springendal, Singraven and Stift van Weerselo

Your route starts at Restaurant Hotel Wyllandrie. First you cycle through the Springendal, a picturesque nature reserve that is also called the 'Garden of the Netherlands'. Then you drive through the Singraven Estate, an experience in itself. Here you can admire a manor, a centuries-old water mill and a number of tenant farms. Enjoy the rippling water of the Dinkel at your leisure. The route continues to the protected village of Het Stift near Weerselo. From the fourteenth century onwards, unmarried noble ladies were provided with a good education in this monastery. Be sure to visit the Stiftskerk, which was completely rebuilt in 1600 after a fire. The attractive Stiftsplein with its majestic oak trees and beautiful buildings is also worth a visit!
