Description
Via the'Lake Como\\\' this route passes'Keukenhof estate\\\' in Lisse. The route ends at the ring canal via beautiful 'inland roads'. You drive the last part along the ring canal to'Buitenkaag\\\'. Here you can take the ferry to'Kaag island\\\' to visit the island. These kilometers are in addition to the 25 km of the indicated route. :)
Kaageiland
Kaag is the oldest of all village centers in the municipality of Kaag en Braassem.In most cases, Kaag is called Kaag Island. Since the Kagerplassen are nearby, Kaageiland is an excellent base for water recreation. There are marinas, sailing schools, boat rentals and restaurants. Furthermore, the sailing competitions of the annual Kaagweek are both nationally and internationally known. Experience this picturesque village island, visit or get an ice cream at the cheese farm and drive past the impressive shipyard of 'van Lent'.
After getting off the ferry again, the route returns along the ring canal to drive via the polder to Sassenheim. The route here deviates from the'junctions\\\' so take a good look at the map. :)
From Sassenheim the route returns to the village center of Noordwijkerhout.
