Description
We start in the city center on the Grote Markt. Via city park"look in the pot\\\" we head towards the water. Here we drive via the water ramp onto the"turf\\\" route. This yellow cycle path runs from Bergen op zoom to Roosendaal. We will follow the first part.
Via the newly constructed cycle paths we enjoy a wonderful ride along the new residential area under construction. Here we cross the bridge"Smitvest\\\" and turn left. A piece of forest in the middle of the city. Wonderfully quiet.
We follow this bike path and drive through the"Anton van Dunkirk\\\" city park. Here you drive under a beautiful work of art. It's a kind of golden crown. Definitely worth a photo moment!
We continue the path along the railway and eventually arrive at the Bergse heath. Here you will find"brasserie de Berk\\\" and you can enjoy delicious food and/or drinks.
We then follow the"peat\\\" route and pass through forests past the Canadian cemetery. Definitely worth taking a look and reflecting on what happened in the Second World War.
Then we drive on and continue the peat route. We drive parallel to the A58 highway and then via the village of Zoomvliet and beautiful forests we arrive at"stay okay\\\" At this inn you can enjoy a drink and / or snack. Here you will find a lookout tower and a climbing forest.
We drive towards the Bravis hospital and follow the main road for a while. We take the roundabout 3 quarters so that we can take the cycle path towards Heimolen. We drive through Heimolen. Here you will find old picaresque houses. but also modern architectural marvels. A nice mix! You will also find camping here satisfied.
After the Heimolen we drive on to Landgoed Mattemburgh. Here you will find a restaurant and this is a wonderful resting place in a green environment. You can stop here for. a drink or something to eat.
After this stop we drive through the forest towards the Kraaijenberg lookout. A resting place for migrating birds. then we drive on and suddenly we are in the residential area Bergse Plaat. We go via the boulevard where you can stop for an ice cream at Timo\\\'s and then drive down the entire boulevard towards shopping Leisure de"Zeeland\\\" Here we cross the road towards the muted harbor the quay.
Via the Lievevrouwstraat you reach the Grote Markt again and your route is over!
Anticipate other road users. Avoid curbs, large bumps and loose stones on the road.
