In the Biesbosch National Park you can take a bike ride through the water-rich and unspoilt nature. You start near the Steurgat. You will pass De Steur Marina and Fort Steurgat: the southernmost fort of the New Dutch Waterline. This fort was built in 1881 and served to close the Nieuwe Merwede and the Steurgat. Just past junction 4 you pass the Wassende Maan. Climb the hill to discover this work of art. You then wind along small roads straight through the Biesbosch National Park, a fun way to explore this unique freshwater area.
