Walk through the Bieslandse Bos and the Balijbos

With this loop walk you take a beautiful trip through nature between Delft and Zoetermeer. First you walk to Wandelbos Laakweg. Here you will find a mix of open spaces, water features and a young forest in development. Further on you pass the Dobbeplas and walk into the Bieslandse Bos. This nature reserve was created around 1985 for timber production, but now has a recreational function. Here you will find a variety of forest, swamp, roughness, swamp forests and open polder. A wonderfully quiet piece of nature, ideal for relaxing. At De Balije Tuin you can grab a terrace for lunch before you start the loop through the Balijbos. This forest was largely created for the Floriade in 1992. You will find forests, polders and swamps.
