Cycling route from river valley to sandy soil

Boxtel is located in the middle of Den Bosch, Tilburg and Eindhoven. The cycle route runs straight through this town, which is located in the valley of the Dommel and the Smalwater. The route takes you through Boxtel, where you will encounter a few estates towards the north, such as Zegenwerp, Zegenoode and the Wilhelmina Park. Along the way you will also pass Nemerlaer Castle. Then the route continues through Vught. The nature there lies in a transition area between low-lying river areas and sandy soils. As a result, you cycle through a very varied landscape of heathland, forests, fens and polders. In between you cycle through or past the smaller towns of Sint-Michielsgestel and Den Dungen.
