Tour of Oirschotse Heide

This route takes you to Oirschot and the Oirschotse Heide. A day full of nature and culture! First you reach the picturesque Vessem. You will pass, among other things, the Jacobusmolen, the largest flour mill in the Netherlands. Then you drive into the Buikheide, a forest area that was once created for logging. You will see conifers and American oaks here. A little later you cycle through the Oirschotse Heide, another vast nature reserve. To enjoy! You cross the Wilhelmina Canal, after which you pass the centuries-old Chapel of the Holy Oak. In the Brabant farmland, fields, meadows and stream valleys alternate. You can get off at Hoeve 1827 for a pit stop before cycling to picturesque Oirschot. You drive to the end point via the Oirschotse Heide and the village of Wintelre.
