Hike Eibergen

Get your sturdy walking shoes out of the closet for a beautiful route through and around Eibergen. First you walk a bit along the Berkel. Here you see the Mallumse Molen, a monumental corn and hulling mill from 1748. You cross the Berkel, after which you walk on the leafy footpath along the straightened Ramsbeek. Further on you walk through the Kerkloobos, a legacy of a former mayor of Eibergen to the community in 1924. On the Keerdijk you walk on an unpaved road that is largely spanned by the foliage of the trees: beautiful! You walk half a circle around Eibergen along meadows and fields. In the town itself you will see some beautiful buildings and the Oude Mattheüskerk from 1500. The route ends at Hotel De Kastanjefabriek.
