Walk on the Groevenbeek Estate

Your route starts at Camping het Vossenhol. Just below Ermelo you can take a beautiful varied walk through nature. First you walk into the forest. It is wonderful to walk between the trees on wide and straight paths. Ideal for catching up with your fellow walkers. After a while you walk through the trees into the Groevenbeekse Heide. You have beautiful views here. Back in the forest you soon come to Oud-Groevenbeek. This estate contains an Art Nouveau villa from 1907 and a water tower from 1912 that would not have looked out of place as part of a show castle. Further on you walk across Nieuw Groevenbeek. This estate is also impressive with its stately avenues, old trees and beautiful mansion. You walk back through the forest.
