Walk Buurserzand

Put on your sturdy walking shoes and go out into nature near Buurse. You can walk freely among the meadows and fields. Further on you walk through the forests that grow along the Buurserbeek. The path then leads you to the Buurserzand. This quiet nature reserve is unique in Europe due to its size and wet character. Here you will find a series of heathlands with hundred-year-old juniper berries, forests, small fields and some orchid meadows. What immediately stands out here: the tranquility. That makes this route ideal for a day of relaxing and catching up with your fellow hikers. The route also takes you a short distance along the almost adjacent Haaksbergerveen. You walk back along the Zoddebeek to Boerderijcamping De Beek.
