Walk Buurserzand

Put on your sturdy walking shoes and go out into nature at Buurse. You walk your legs between the meadows and fields. Further on you walk through the woods that grow along the Buurserbeek. The path then leads you to the Buurserzand. This quiet nature reserve is unique in Europe due to its size and wet character. Here you will find a succession of heaths with hundred-year-old junipers, forests, small fields and a few orchid meadows. What immediately stands out here: the tranquility. That makes this route ideal for relaxing for a day and chatting with your fellow hikers. The route also takes you a short distance along the almost adjacent Haaksbergerveen. You walk back along the Zoddebeek to Farm Camping De Beek.
