Walk Rijpwetering

Put on your sturdy walking shoes for a nice walk through the polders near Rijpwetering. From Bij Bo food & drink you are the first to walk a bit through Rijpwetering. You see a number of old farms and Our Lady's Birth Church from 1860. Then you walk along the Blue Polder. You have a beautiful view of vast meadows and ditches. You can see the Blauwe Molen, a polder mill that was built here in 1904. At junction 44 you walk through the Ghoybos, a small recreational area that opened in 2019. From junction 86 you take a detour through the Boterhuispolder. This peat meadow area has retained its medieval allotment pattern: unique! Further on you pass the Vrouw Vennemolen. Got hungry? That's good: Eating & drinking at Bo is at the end of your route.
