Route towards the southwest corner of Friesand.
From Leeuwarden towards Sneek on beautiful secluded cycle paths. After Sneek to Woudsend some open terrain and straight stretches. Reasonable route from Woudsend to Balk. After Balk through the forests of Gaasterland to Rijs. Then via Koudum to Workum. After Workum along the canal to Bolsward, along a varied route and nice villages. From Bolsward, almost separate cycle paths, all the way to Leeuwarden.
