RaboRonde Heerlen - Cycling criterion

The RaboRonde Heerlen is organized by Stichting Cyclocross Heerlen.

In addition, it annually organizes the'International Cyclocross in Heerlen on the well-known course Hellegat. In 1999, 2004 and 2010 the foundation organized the'NK Cyclocross Heerlen\\\'.

The organization works annually with the UCI and the KNWU, the municipality of Heerlen, the Province of Limburg and the House for Sport Limburg.

Heerlen Sports City

The municipality of Heerlen, located in the beautiful Limburg hilly landscape, has built up a good name in cycling in recent years. Every year there is the UCI International Cyclo-cross on a beautiful, but above all selective course (2,500 meters).

Heerlen is widely known as a cycling city. For years, Heerlen was the starting point of the Amstel Goldrace and in 1967 the World Road Championships took place here. More recently, the Dutch Championship on the road was held in Heerlen and the Holland Ladies Tour also visited Heerlen.

In addition, every year, on the first Friday after the Tour de France, the professional cycling criterion"RaboRonde Heerlen\\\" takes place in the center of the city. Both the KNWU and the UCI have regularly indicated that they are proud of the qualities of Heerlen
as a member of the international cycling world.
