Walk New Vennep

This route takes you through the parks and green streets of Nieuw-Vennep. You are the first to walk over a leafy lane to the Wandelpark. Further on is the Venneperhout: a special nature reserve, because it has been planted since 2008 in the wide polders. You can discover a lot here, such as orchids. In the morning you can spot partridges that look for shelter from the fields. In the middle of Nieuw-Vennep you can walk through the spring park, summer park, autumn park and winter park. These contiguous parks are characterized by water features with bridges. Finally, you walk a bit along the tree-lined Hoofdvaart: a straight drainage canal of 20 kilometers that runs lengthwise through the Haarlemmermeerpolder.
