Walk Zwiep

With this route you take a detour through the rural surroundings of the village of Zwiep. On the edge of the village you pass the Zwiepse Molen. This flour mill originally dates from 1851. Due to poor wind conditions, it has been moved a number of times. It has been in its present place since 1880. You then walk through the estate that belongs to Havezate De Heest. It is wonderful to walk along meadows and fields. You also walk along the banks of the Berkel, a rippling river that originates in Germany and flows into the IJssel near Zutphen. You can fully enjoy the tranquility here. Ideal to relax for a while. You walk back through the meadows and along the road to Restaurant & Speelerij De Witte Wieven. Time for something delicious!
