Cycling through the dunes

This beautiful bike ride starts at Restaurant Saam Hoek van Holland. In good weather, a bike ride through or along the dunes is wonderful: beautiful nature, a fresh breeze and the opportunity to get a breath of fresh air on the beach in between. From's-Gravenzande you cycle via Duingebied de Banken and the dunes of Ter Heijde to the edge of The Hague. Dune area De Banken has a rich breeding bird population, but it is also important for plants, mushrooms and insects. You follow the route south and you cross the cozy village of Monster. You pass the windmill Vier Winden and War Memorial Monster. After this route you can enjoy a delicious snack and a drink at Restaurant Saam Hoek van Holland. You can also choose from one of the delicious pancakes that the restaurant offers.
