Tour of Edam and Volendam

Your route starts at Hotel Old Dutch - Restaurant Le Pompadour. Here you will immediately experience the characteristic Volendam cosiness. The center of the small Edam has its own atmosphere. You will pass the fifteenth-century Grote Kerk, the Cheese Market and the Speeltoren. Beautiful historical places to interrupt your route and enjoy the history in peace. After lunch at your starting point, you will walk another beautiful route through the historical heart of Volendam, along the Zeedijk and the harbor. On one side, the pleasure boats float on the water, on the other side you will see beautiful characteristic houses. The building of the fish auction is a national monument from 1934. Here you can still really taste the authentic atmosphere of the fishing village!
