Tour of Edam and Volendam

Your route starts at Hotel Old Dutch - Restaurant Le Pompadour. You immediately experience the characteristic Volendam conviviality here. The center of small Edam has its own atmosphere. You pass the fifteenth-century Grote Kerk, the Cheese Market and the Speeltoren. Beautiful historical places to pause your route and enjoy the history in peace. After lunch at your starting point, you will walk a beautiful route through the historic heart of Volendam, along the Zeedijk and the harbor. On one side the pleasure boats float on the water, on the other side you see beautiful characteristic houses. The building of the fish auction is a national monument from 1934.
