Description
The ferry tour is an initiative of the tourist office.
In my case we drive from 30 to Buurtschap de Grauif (34), then under the A17 through 36, then we take the 38, De Dikkendijk, nice dike, via Caldic to the Kokoekdijk, keep on 39, 12 follow this route and go to the ferry at the harbor in Moerdijk Dorp!
From there the (now antique) ferry to Strijensas. This crossing is absolutely fantastic!!!
Follow 27 with a beautiful view over the nature reserve, 26 is the hamlet of Schuring, 10 to Numansdorp, nice terrace overlooking the harbor and then to the A29, junction 9, then 29, and 23 to the beautiful Willemstad , and back to 30 via the beautiful outer dike.
If you only take the ferry from Moerdijk to Strijensas, the route is approximately 55 km.
There is also a ferry between Numansdorp and Willemstad, but it is often full.
