Description
From Urmond you will take a beautiful route through Dutch and Belgian Limburg. First you will drive to Stein. Here you can admire the Sint-Martinus church and the beautiful surroundings of the castle ruins. Then it is wonderful to make kilometers along the Julianakanaal. From Geulle aan de Maas you cross the river to Belgium. Soon you will enter the Hoge Kempen National Park. You will make a climb, after which you can enjoy the vast forests, heathlands and the silence at your leisure. You will cycle through Eisden-Tuinwijk, an old mining district. Along the Maas bank you will cycle back towards the Netherlands. In Oud-Urmond you can still taste the atmosphere of times gone by.
