Description

This route introduces you to the rich history and nature of Delft. First you walk through the old city center. While you walk along the canals, you have plenty of time to admire the many monumental buildings. What a nice atmosphere! The East Gate is the only remaining city gate, it originally dates from the fourteenth century. Further on you will pass the iconic Markt. Here you can see, among other things, the famous Delft town hall and the Nieuwe Kerk, which contains the tomb of William of Orange. This takes you through the Delftse Hout and the Bieslandse Bos. You walk back along the Singel to De Brasserij.
