Walking through Delft and the Delftse Hout

This route introduces you to the rich history and nature of Delft. First, you walk through the old city center. While you walk along the canals, you have plenty of time to admire the many monumental buildings. What a nice atmosphere! The Oostpoort is the only remaining city gate, it originally dates from the fourteenth century. Further on, you pass the iconic Markt. Here you can see, among other things, the famous Delft city hall and the Nieuwe Kerk, which contains the mausoleum of William of Orange. This takes you through the Delftse Hout and the Bieslandse Bos. Along the Singel you walk back to De Brasserij.
