Along the Lek you will find beautiful places full of history. Such as Vianen, the town where your route starts. Get off to leisurely view the many monumental buildings in the Voorstraat, such as the beautiful fifteenth-century Lekpoort. On the other side of the Lek you can also enjoy the historical atmosphere as you cycle through the protected village view of Vreeswijk. A little later you cycle onto the Eiland van Schalkwijk. Here you pass through the village of Tull en't Waal where you pass the Reformed Church from 1778, among other things. Then you make a shortcut through the Kromme Rijnstreek. At Ons In't Goy you can leisurely enjoy a coffee and ice cream, after which you cycle a few kilometers along the dike along the Lek.
