Description
The landscape on the route has been completely shaped by man, especially after the Second World War. New residential areas were built around Breda, Oosterhout, Dongen and Rijen. In addition, a dense network of (water) roads developed. Sometimes you notice some of this activity, but usually it is wonderfully quiet in the forests of Ulvenhout and Dorst or the agricultural area of Molenschot. Vijf Eiken, a forest of Scots pine with a heathland in the middle, is part of the Dorst forestry.
