Tour of Roermond and Roerdalen

After boarding, you can ride your legs along the banks of the Lange Vlieter, a lake created by gravel extraction. Then you cycle through the fragrant coniferous forests of the Beegderheide. In Horn you will pass two nineteenth-century flour mills, after which you cross the Maas for even more cultural history with a visit to charming Roermond. In Roerdalen it is wonderfully peaceful to cycle through the countryside. Near the Roer you will pass Geluksplek 22, after which you will drive through the Munningsbos and the Annendaalsbos. From junction 22 you drive through the Haeselaarsbroek, a nature reserve of grasslands, forests, swamps and drainage channels. Just past Montfort you pass the ruins of the thirteenth-century Montfort Castle. You cross the Maas again, the route ends at Resort Boschmolenplas.
