Round Heythuysen

This route takes you through the region around Heythuysen in Central Limburg. You will soon pass the Grathemermolen, a thirteenth-century water mill. Further on you can take a look at the old Sint-Severinuskerk. In the countryside it is wonderfully relaxing to cycle along meadows, fields and small plots of forest. It is wonderfully quiet in this region! You drive through the cozy Heythuysen, after which you explore the Leudal. Coniferous and deciduous trees alternate here, you also drive along heaths. The Leumolen, a beautiful building from 1773, is located on the Leubeek. In Horn you will pass a real ring castle and two nineteenth-century flour mills. Finally, you drive through the coniferous forests of the Beegderheide and along the banks of the Lange Vlieter. The route ends at Resort Boschmolenplas.
