Description
This beautiful cycling route goes through the Betuwe and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
You cycle past fruit orchards, through forests and farmlands. Along the way you will also come across several castles, such as Wijk Bij Duurstede Castle, Sandenburg Castle and Amerongen Castle. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy your Culinary Lunch along the way. Have fun cycling!
Practical information: At Amerongen Castle the road is closed, you can then turn left and then right. The road is then closed again, you first turn left and then right. You will then return to the main road. Continue along the road towards Elst and turn left into the forest towards junction 65.
You will take the ferry twice on the route. In Elst and in Wijk bij Duurstede.
Costs are €2 per person (round trip). You cannot pay by card.
