Description
From your starting point you first drive via the Wennetjes to the Westduinpark. In this varied nature reserve with dense forests, open plains and steep slopes you will find viewpoints of more than 30 meters high. Then you arrive in picturesque Scheveningen along the Tweede Haven, now a popular tourist attraction. On the other side of Scheveningen you can dive straight into the dunes of Meijendel. In the past, many hawthorns grew in the area, from which Meijendel takes its name. The inner dune has a lot of tree growth, closer to the sea you will find 'bare' sandy areas with marram grass. Near the Scheveningse Bosjes, take a break at ZOT zee on table, where you can enjoy fresh fish. You cycle back via the heart of the city and Huis te Werve, straight through the green Uithof.
