Explore the South of the Netherlands and a bit of Belgium

This tour largely goes through the Voerstreek, an enclave of Belgian Limburg within the province of Liège. Along the way you will enjoy beautiful panoramas and the rich nature and culture of South Limburg. Nice terraces, beautiful views: a route for bon vivants. Auberge de Smockelaer is the starting point of your route. Further on in Slenaken, get off at Hotel de Plank! You continue to the border village of Ulvend. The half-timbered houses on the left of the street are in Belgium, on the right in the Netherlands. In Mheer you make a pit stop at Café Quanten, before driving into the Voerstreek via Mesch. You pass through three villages on the Voer, including 's-Gravenvoer. From here, back in the Netherlands, on to Terziet, a hamlet where time seems to have stood still a bit.
