Explore the South of the Netherlands and a bit of Belgium

This tour largely goes through the Voer region, an enclave of Belgian Limburg within the province of Liège. Along the way you will enjoy beautiful panoramas and the rich nature and culture of South Limburg. Nice terraces, beautiful views: a route for bon vivants. Auberge de Smockelaer is the starting point of your route. Further on in Slenaken, stop off at Hotel de Plank! You continue to the border village of Ulvend. The half-timbered houses on the left of the street are in Belgium, on the right in the Netherlands. In Mheer you make a pit stop at Café Quanten, before you drive into the Voer region via Mesch. You will pass through three villages that lie on the Voer, including 's-Gravenvoeren. From here, back in the Netherlands, on to Terziet, a hamlet where time seems to have stood still a little.
