Description
Zoetermeer is a pleasant park-rich city on the edge of the Groene Hart National Landscape. The former mining village is surrounded by picturesque polder landscapes where it is wonderful to cycle thanks to the wide views. Along the way you cycle through beautiful villages and typical Dutch polders. The reclamation of the peat landscape created the typical Dutch pattern of strip allotment in the meadows. You will find characteristic farms along the watercourses. It is nice and quiet here to cycle on the old polder roads.
