Description
In the real Tour today, the riders ride over rolling terrain towards Gap, here in the far North that is anything but the case, there is not much to climb here. A true classic in this region is the Rondje Lauwersmeer, which we will largely follow today. We drive to the extreme point of the mainland of Groningen and after about 50 kilometers we have a beautiful view from the dike over the Wadden Sea. Via the Frisian village of Anjum we then arrive in Dokkum. We follow the Dokkumer Ee and pass Bartlehiem, known for the bridge in the Elfstedentocht.
