Today we stay another day in the land of the Amstel Gold Race. This time we choose the middle loop of 112 kilometers. No fewer than 16 (!) climbs are on the menu today. Today's route includes the Camerig, according to many people the most beautiful climb in the Netherlands. The climb feels like half an Alp, is divided into four parts and winds up over a total of 3600 meters. The average gradient is 7%, the steepest points are over 9%. After the Camerig we drive further towards Vaals, here we climb the Drielandenpunt, where we are literally on the border with Germany and Belgium. Today is also the round of beautiful place names. What about Berg en Terblijt, Cadier en Keer and Schin op Geul, to name just a few. We return to Valkenburg via the climbs of Huls, Vrakelweg and the Sibbergrubbe. We squeeze everything out one more time on the Cauberg.
