2. Rotterdam - Renesse - Amstel Radler, Tour de Hollande

Up early. In this shortest stage, the Tour de France is right behind us. We leave over the Erasmus Bridge, where the start of the first stage in 2010 took place. At Rotterdam South we drive onto the Groene Kruisweg and follow it all the way to Heenvliet. By the way, we expect quite a lot of spectators along the side, because the real peloton will pass by this afternoon. Along the canal we head towards Hellevoetsluis. We cross the Haringvliet bridge, with a nice climb to feel how the legs are. Through the beautiful Goedereede we arrive in Ouddorp, the village with perhaps the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands. From Ouddorp we cross the Brouwersdam, and drive between the sea (right) and Grevelingen (left). Halfway through the dam we exchange South Holland for Zeeland. At the bottom of the dam we turn right towards the seaside resort of Renesse. In the Wapen van Zeeland we watch the finish of the stage on Neeltje Jans.
