Description
I had planned to cycle this route on June 23, 2015, but due to a strong wind and some rain showers I shortened it a bit. I eventually cut off the loop in NH by cycling directly from 17 to 69.
the part between 17 and 69 was clearly a less beautiful route, but it was nice to get to Zaanstad and discover that this is still a fairly large city. the original route seems much nicer to cycle.
a tour around amsterdam was on the planning for a while and is now done. nice about this route is that the influence of amsterdam is still present throughout the route, in the distance you can usually see a highway. still it is certainly a rural route with many beautiful polder landscapes.
the signs are sometimes hard to find, several times went wrong. it is handy to have a map with you, the print from route.nl is actually too rough to be able to use properly.
