The Lytse Marren Bicycle Tour has been named the most beautiful bicycle tour in Friesland by'My Friesland\\\'. This tour takes you 62 kilometers through the Southwest Friesland National Landscape (the tour can also be cycled as a 45 km tour! Enjoy the view over vast meadows, the beautiful lakes for which this part of Friesland is known and characteristic Frisian villages.
Strolling through Bolsward
The start and end point of this route is in Bolsward. This eleven-city Hanseatic city is full of monuments and museums that are worth admiring. Take the time to stroll or cycle through this town and get to know the Frisian culture. Also visit a butcher shop if you happen to pass by and buy a fresh Frisian dry sausage. The sausages are smoked fresh every week and they taste delicious. This way you can take a little bit of Friesland home with you as a memory of this bike ride.
