Discover the Colonies of Benevolence and cycle straight through Drenthe. This 81 km long cycle route takes you to the Colonies; Frederiksoord, Wilhelminaoord and Veenhuizen. Along the way, numerous monuments tell the unique story of General Johannes van den Bosch and his Society of Benevolence. Via Zorgvlied and Doldersum you pass through the Drents-Friese Wold National Park and the Fochteloërveen. A wonderful experience of culture and nature!
