Tour of Renesse with children

This route takes you through the beautiful surroundings of Renesse. It is short and leads you over quiet paths, so you can easily cycle it with the kids. First you take a look at the heart of Renesse, after which you cycle into the dunes. Here you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the peace and quiet. You also drive through Burgh, a village that arose around a ring rampart that was erected at the end of the ninth century against raiding Normans. A replica of part of such an old castle has been made on the Ring, nice to get off and look at with the kids. From the cycle path you have a beautiful view of the Oosterschelde, after which you cycle back to Fiets aan zee in Renesse via the Schelphoek nature reserve.
