Description
A route for gourmets! You will automatically cycle past numerous terraces. A fun way to discover regional products, such as blueberries. You can also enjoy the scents and colors around Rozendorp Lottum.
Your route starts at Rozenhof, a rose garden with information center. Lottum is the center of Dutch rose cultivation: around 20 million garden roses are grown there every year. It smells wonderful here on the bike!
You continue straight through the forests of the Maasduinen. Near Arcen you will pass Arcen Castle with its beautiful rose gardens. Arcen is a nice village to enjoy a terrace, right on the Maas. In Lottum you take a quick tour past fragrant rose fields before returning to your starting point.

You first drive to the Schuitwater, a beautiful nature reserve around an old Maas channel. Get off nearby at Theetuin De Roode Vennen. A little further on you will also find a nice terrace at Blue Berrie Hill. Here you can pick blueberries yourself, or enjoy blueberry pie and juices in the teahouse.
Then you take the ferry at Broekhuizen to the other side of the Maas. Here you will discover Pannenkoekenhuis Jachthut op den Hamer, on the edge of De Maasduinen National Park.
