Culinary Forest Walk 18 April 2021

We start the route by heading west from the Treeswijkhoeve, onto the vlasrootlaan.

We turn left at the first option. We follow this road. The road bends to the right, after which we arrive at a cycle path.

At this cycle path we turn left in a southerly direction across the cycle path.

At the first option we turn right in a westerly direction into the forest.

We follow this forest path straight ahead for about 500m. You will now come across the first amuse point here.

We then continue walking in the same direction for about 300m. We now come to an intersection and turn right in a northerly direction.

At the end of this path we turn right in an easterly direction.
At the 2nd turning point (after about 200 m of walking) on the right, we turn right and then immediately left.
At a Y-junction we keep left. The path then bends left and we continue walking on the path in the direction of junction 75.

When we arrive at junction 75 we will find the 2nd amuse point here. 

We now turn right in an easterly direction. We follow the route to junction 80 for a short distance, but at the 2nd turning point on the left, we turn left and walk past the vlasrootven. We follow this road straight to the end and then turn right in a northerly direction to junction 76.

At junction 76 we go straight ahead towards junction 2, this is a path that bends a few times. Once we arrive at the cycle path, you can no longer go straight and we turn right in an easterly direction. We follow this cycle path until the first intersection.

Here you arrive at the 3rd amuse point.

We continue the route by turning left in a northerly direction. We are still following the route towards junction 2.

After about 300m you will reach a T-junction. Here we turn right and then immediately left again. We continue straight on this road. We still follow the route to junction 2.

When we arrive at junction 2 we continue our route straight along the road in the direction of junction 3.

At junction 3 you will find the 4th amuse point.

We continue the road in the direction we were already walking. We follow the route to junction 81 for a short time.

We cross a cycle path and then turn right at the first option on the right, heading south.

As soon as the first intersection is reached, we turn left in an easterly direction.

Follow this road straight ahead until the 5th amuse point is reached.

From here we turn right in a southerly direction. We now follow the route to arrive at junction 81.

When we arrive at junction 81, we turn right and follow the route to junction 80.

We arrive at an intersection. From the direction you are walking you have the choice of 1 direction to the right and 3 directions to the left. Of these 3 choices we choose the middle one so that we continue the route towards junction 80 and walk along the lakes and down.

When we arrive at junction 80, we have also reached the 6th amuse point. Here you will receive your last amuse-bouche of this walk.

From the last point we walk into the vlasrootlaan and follow it to the end. At the end you will find the Treeswijkhoeve on the left.
