E-bike route from De Watertoren to Kinderdijk

First you drive a bit through Dordrecht. In the middle of the city you cycle through the Dordwijk Estate, which was built around 1635. You can cross the Beneden-Merwede by water bus. Via Alblasserdam you drive to the Kinderdijkse Mills. They were built in the eighteenth century to improve the drainage of the Alblasserwaard. The mills have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1997. Dismount for a moment to enjoy this historic view before cycling into the vast landscape of the Alblasserwaard. Extensive meadows, watercourses and even more old mills: this is Holland at its most beautiful. You will pass through some interesting old villages, such as Molenaarsgraaf and Wijngaarden. You drive back along the edge of the Hollandse Biesbosch to De Watertoren Hotel & Restaurant.
