E-bike route from the Water Tower to Kinderdijk

First you cycle a bit through Dordrecht. In the middle of the city you cycle through Landgoed Dordwijk that was built around 1635. With the water bus you cross the Beneden-Merwede. Via Alblasserdam you cycle to the Kinderdijkse Molens. They were built in the eighteenth century to improve the drainage of the Alblasserwaard. Since 1997 the mills have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Get off for a moment to enjoy this historical view, before you cycle into the vast landscape of the Alblasserwaard. Vast meadows, waterways and even more old mills: this is Holland at its most beautiful. You pass through several interesting old villages, such as Molenaarsgraaf and Wijngaarden. Along the edge of the Hollandse Biesbosch you cycle back to De Watertoren Hotel & Restaurant.
