Walk De Geul, De Dellen and Ingendael

From Vilt you can go on a walking tour through some beautiful nature reserves. First you walk through the woods of the Bergse Heide. You walk here under the canopy of oaks and ash, while enjoying the refreshing silence. You will pass Geulzicht Castle, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It is one of the last castles built by the nouveau riche in the Netherlands during this period. Further on you walk through De Dellen, a rolling landscape where oaks, beeches and maples grow. You then walk through the picturesque Geuldal, where you will see old farms and Sint Gerlach Castle. Nature reserve Ingendael is characterized by flowery grasslands through which the Geul meanders. The route ends at Café - Friture An De Grwate Wèch.
