Hike Terblijt

Lovely slopes, forest plots interspersed with meadows, fields and orchards: walking in the Heuvelland is never boring. This route takes you from the town of Vilt for a walk around Terblijt. Soon you walk through the fields on a car-free path. It is wonderfully quiet here. Ideal for catching up with your fellow hikers. In Terblijt you pass some characteristic old farms. They date from the nineteenth century and are built with marl. From Terblijt you walk through the fields into the Koelgrub. This dry valley is a depression that has been worn out by run-off rainwater. The typical landscape that you will find here makes your walk extra special.
