Tour of Margraten

Around Margraten, you can take a beautiful bike ride through the hilly countryside. You will enjoy the panoramic views over the green hills and the characteristic villages you pass through along the way. In Margraten, you cycle past the St. Margaret's Church, a church built of marlstone whose tower dates back to the fourteenth century. In Mheer, you can catch a glimpse of the seventeenth-century St. Lambertus Church. Behind it stands the fourteenth-century Castle of Mheer. In Sint Antoniusbank, a hamlet of about 40 houses, you will find even more cultural history. Among other things, there are two enclosed courtyard farms, two beautiful monumental farmhouses, and a former monastery.
