All of the Heuvelrug (part 4) - from Rhenen to Odijk

Part 4 of the Heel de Heuvelrug route (incl. Grebbeberg tour).
Route starts at Rhenen station due to arriving by train. From station to junction 35 where we connect to the end point of Part 3. Start Part 4. Turn right at junction 35 and continue the road / later cycle path over the Laarserberg to Laareind. Here turn right to the Grebbeweg (near the Hoornwerk). Turn right here and via the Grebbeweg onto the Grebbeberg (Ereveld, monument). Continue along the road past Ouwehands Zoo and the Stop Line. Cross at the residential area on the left and through the residential area to the Lek (junction 52). Turn left along the Lek (right) and the Grebbeberg (left) to junction 32. Continue the route to junction 24, turn right through the Blauwe Kamer to the ferry to Opheusden. Take the ferry and continue the route to junction 94 and then junction 92. Turn right here over the Lekdijk (watch out for stray sheep) to junction 13 (Rhenen foot ferry). Check in time whether the foot ferry is running (only in the summer season). An excellent alternative is the road bridge at Rhenen and then via junction 52 to the point where the pedestrian ferry docks (Moeke Rhenen). Turn right here to junction 36 (roundabout). Turn right here via Paardenveld, Koerheuvelweg and Toltoren to the Reumersweg. Follow the Reumersweg (changes into a cycle path through the Rhener Stadsbossen to the Autoweg. Keep left here and continue on the cycle path until the cycle path ends up on the Autoweg for the second time. Here, turn left and immediately turn right into the Defense Road. Continue along this road (along Plantage Willem III) to junction 40. Here cross the Veenendaalsestraatweg and on the other side turn left onto a path parallel to the paved road. After 100 meters, continue to follow the path to the right into the forest. This path ends at the built-up area of Elst, here turn right (LF 4) along the built-up area of Elst to the Bosweg. Here turn right into the forest to junction 42. Here turn left to Amerongen. Via junction 65 to junction 17 (Amerongen castle). Turn right via the Kersweg, Rijnstraat and Molenstraat to the Koningin Wilhelminaweg. Cross this and via the Prinses Christinastraat to the Boslaan. Exit this and turn left at the Jan van Zutphenweg onto the Let de Stigterpad. Follow this path to junction 69, turn right onto the Scherpenzeelseweg until junction 68. Turn left into the forest (Utrechtse lane) and via junction 12 (Tombe van Nellesteyn) and junction 11 (Kasteel Broekhuizen) to junction 10. Through Darthuizen to junction 8 and follow the Buurtweg and the Postweg to the Leersumsestraatweg in Doorn. Cross this and via the Oude Woudenbergseweg, the Parklaan, the Van der Leelaan and the Bergweg to the Amersfoortseweg. Cross this and turn into the Julianaweg and after 100 meters turn right into the Oranjelaan. At the end, turn left and immediately right again onto Austerlitzseweg. Continue this (turns into a cycle path) until you reach the A12 (mushroom 20591). Here turn right towards Maarn onto the steeply ascending cycle path past Zanderij Maarn (Bladestone Island). Follow the cycle path / road to the left and then turn right (Bergweg) to the Amersfoortseweg. Cross this, turn left onto the parallel road under the A12 and continue along the railway line to the intersection with Poortse Bos (junction 6 - in Maarn). Here cross the Amersfoortseweg again (at bicycle traffic lights) in the direction of Austerlitz. On the other side, turn right and then left onto the paved road De Hoogt. Follow this to mushroom 20382 (a large villa on the right). Here turn left onto the cycle path to Austerlitz. Follow this cycle path through Noordhout to the paved road (Traayweg - junction 3). Here turn left in the direction of Driebergen, under the A12 to junction 16. At junction 16, turn right onto the cycle path past the cemetery to junction 96 (Arnhemse Bovenweg). Here, turn right and follow the road, past the roundabout and under the A12. Cross the road before the railway line and turn left onto the cycle path across the Beerschoten-Willinkshof estate to Driebergen-Zeist station. From there via junction 78 to Odijk.
