This route takes you through the beautiful surroundings of Zundert. First you walk a bit over the Wallsteijn estate, which was built around 1800 by Frederik van de Wall, mayor of Zundert. Here you walk through a hall forest of straight trunks and a closed canopy. Then you pass a hunting lodge and cross a peat canal at the edge of the Oude Buisse Heide. Near junction 25 you walk past a tea house that was often used by the Roland Holst couple. Then you cross the heath that Vincent van Gogh liked to be inspired by. You walk into the De Reten nature reserve, where you see a small-scale landscape with, among other things, wooded banks. Via the De Moeren estate you walk back to 't Pannehûske.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
