Walking through estates near Zundert

This route takes you through the beautiful surroundings of Zundert. First you walk a bit on Landgoed Wallsteijn, which was built around 1800 by Frederik van de Wall, mayor of Zundert. You walk here, among other things, through a hall forest of straight trunks and a closed canopy. You then pass a yacht dome and cross a peat canal on the edge of the Oude Buisse Heide. Near junction 25 you walk past a tea house that was often used by the Roland Holst couple. Then you cross the heath that Vincent van Gogh liked to be inspired by. You walk into nature reserve De Reten where you see a small-scale landscape with, among other things, wooded banks. Via Landgoed De Moeren you walk back to 't Pannehûske.
